After trillions in surplus have accrued to the United States plus Europe’s revitalized economy, the stability of Asia and the success of South America’s emergent economies, attention has turned to beleaguered African nations. “Millions of children die each year. It’s time the world paid attention to those other than rich.”

The entire debt for the entire continent of Africa is about $350 billion.
