Blogging moved to micro-blogging which was absorbed into social media. In 2023 the Fediverse is making a comeback. This WordPress post grabs a few entries from Mastodon located at https://toad.social/@thoughtshopper.
Copy/paste failed links into the browser because the WordPress shortcode truncates the Fediverse URL.
Knowledge is Power is a very new thing. Sometimes I wonder if speech, well, er, cawing out attacks on social media purposely dilutes society's "oomph." I mean digital networks may reduce what we actually do. Would we call leaders, make office appointments, locate the bosses and get media news fixed, locate the bad guys and squash their propaganda? Is it effective to meet up to build peace or is only distributing perception another means of growth? I truly cannot answer.

An excellent thread from @mac_puck on the far-right capture of the BBC published for the benefit of those no longer TwitMusking. Much more is needed as democracies weaken.
'Conservative Capture' is an accurate term in the UK, but it excludes dozens of simultaneous penetration operations and hundreds in USA and overseas... It's time to expose planted phonies, shrink weaponized belief and meme attacks, and grow into the horror of coordinated threat.

Celebrities are just normal after all, merely blessed and gifted people carrying on attractive alluring lives. But when distributed through the infostream, they're also coldly evaluated as thought shaping mechanisms wired into company PR and product promo. Shareholder and public interests are loose on the ground while the #SEC frets and twiddles.
